DERNIÈRE HEURE: La légende de la musique américaine Bill Withers est décédé à 81 ans

Triste nouvelle dans le monde de la musique, on apprend vendredi matin que le légendaire chanteur de soul Bill Withers est décédé à l'âge de 81 ans. Withers était un employé d'usine qui a connu la gloire en 1971 avec son succès Ain't No Sunshine. En 1972, il a lancé la chanson mondialement connue Lean On Me. Il est également l'un des auteurs de la pièce très connue Just the Two of Us.

Récipiendaire de trois Grammys est décédé lundi, à Los Angeles, selon ce qui a été confirmé par voie de communiqué. Depuis le début de la crise actuelle, sa musique était reprise par beaucoup de gens à travers le monde pour garder espoir. Sa chanson Lean on Me était tout particulièrement utilisée par des artistes à travers le monde pour donner du courage aux travailleurs du domaine de la santé.
